Initially, the game was planned on Friday which was convenient for Capello as he could just take the next flight and go for his son, Pierfillipo's wedding to long-time partner Titiana which will take place the next day.
Unfortunately, the Spanish FA extended it to Saturday to give some resting time to the Barcelona players after their Copa del Rey match against L'Hospitalet.
However, according to Capello, his son won't mind his dad not being present at the wedding because the couple already have two kids and wedding is "just a formality to complete." Yes, marriage is just that.
